LET ME SPEAK TO YOUR PEOPLE

I’ve spoken more than 7,000 times in 44 states including Alaska, Hawaii and Old Mexico on the subject. Including engagements in about 100 Bible schools, colleges and Seminaries.

I’ve spoken in Chapel at Southwestern Baptist, Midwestern, Golden Gate and a week in Bob Jones University and dozens of other religious schools.

I would love to speak in your church. I prefer to speak Sunday mornings in both Sunday school and the morning worship service. I prefer Sunday morning’s because it’s from that group the Mormon proselyte’s come.

They are baptizing generally over 300,000 proselytes a year. Not counting their own children, whose number is second highest in the Nation.

The average Southern Baptist Church has about 380 members. Mormons claim to be baptizing more than 300,000 proselyte baptisms a year.

That means that Mormonism is baptizing the equivalent of more than two average size Baptist Churches a day!

I’m glad to report that their proselyte baptisms are down since 2000. Hopefully I and some others who have kindred ministries are having some affect.

Baptists are more vulnerable than most others. We teach our people to witness. Some informed Baptist leaders have estimated that 40% of converts to Mormonism come from professing Baptists.

Others, no doubt as well-informed say no, 60% claim a Baptist background.

How could this be true!

In a sense witnessing is selling. Good salesmen sell a portion of those to whom they make their pitch.

We teach our people to witness, and I’m generally for that, but do you know what the Bible says?

"If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him god speed!

"For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." (2^nd John 10-11)

I’m generally in favor of witnessing but experience shows that church members who are uninformed about Mormonism often become Mormons.

This is not the result of Mormonism being true, but of our unpreparedness, the lack of knowledge about Mormonism’s errors. It teaches that God is not the creator, that he has a body, multiple wives, that He committed incest with his own daughter Mary, and that Jesus became a spirit brother of Lucifer. They teach Mormon men can becomes gods of other planets. Mormonism says the bible is inferior to the Book of Mormon.

And I can prove Mormonism in error with the Book of Mormon.

Please let me come and speak to your people. Though never a Mormon, I traveled 23 days, 6,000 miles with 34 Mormons and a BYU professor!

I have 51 years of experience with Mormons, 17 in Utah. I’ve written 10 books on the subject and have had one printed 11 times. One printing was 10,000 copies!
